I am having a microdermabrasion treatment done for the first time.. I have been getting a lot of small blackheads and I was told this would help. I’ve been hearing that I may break out badly afterwords. Is this true?
This is a complementary treatment.. Will I need to go regularly for the microdermabrasion in order for it to work and reduce breakouts?
What can I expect to happen?

I’m getting microdermabrasion treatments right now for my blackheads. When you go in the will wash your face then dry it. Then they will begin the treatment. It’s a small tool that shoots out small rough pieces that scrub off the top layers of skin. It stings slightly, like a cat scratch but is not bad. They will do your whole face. After that, using the same tool they will go back over your face and suck off all the residue and dead skin. then they will wash your face again. After that they will pick out some blackheads using a small tool. It’s uncomfortable but not too bad. It should help your blackheads. Sometimes my face is slightly red after wards but it fades quickly and i have never broken out badly after wards. You will have to do regular treatments to maintain the healthiest skin. My girl recommended one treatment a month for 5 months. It is a little pricey, but worth it. Your skin looks and feels so clean after wards. Good luck!
I think it’s almost the same as diamond peeling, your blackheads will be pricked out first and then they will exfoliate your skin.
