I am sixty years old and had a face lift with very pleasing results except that after three months the red scars in front of my ears are still very visible. The scars cramp my life style, because I do not want everyone to know my secret which is difficult to hide since I am a outdoor, sporty woman. i’m light skinned african american. I have acne and facial scars. I want my skin to look new & improved before august 10th
i need to bring out my natural skin colors, because the scars and pimples, make me skin complexion darker than what it really is

I have some sun damage, sun spots and want to improve my skin. Having it look smoother and more refined would be best. Face washes and stuff haven’t done much, so I’m considering a peel or microdermabrasion. How well does this work and what can I expect to see. Also, what negative after effects can I expect? The one I’m looking at is an alternative to a chemical peel and says non-invasive. Uses an enzyme that must work similarly, but without the negative after effects.
